HOF96

The special conformation of the Lucas Carrieri Art Gallery has permitted that the space once used for small performances has gained its independance throughout the passing time. It opposes itself to the traditional art programming of the other gallery rooms, and it distinguishes itself with a more vital, social and quicker way of expressing art. This is how Hof96 was born, where during the traditional 'aperitivo' time different social groups of Berlin present, one per evening, a friend which is an artist. During this event different kinds of art get presented, like paitings, performances, video, lectures, photography, theatre, music or installations. Hof96 is also a reality where a young Berlin made of foreign artists in transit have a place where they can confront themselves, and, perhaps, leave a sign.
